Best time to visit Tuscany
I’ve visited Tuscany in every season, and honestly, it’s hard to pick the best because I loved them all! But let me tell you a bit about each season and why each one is great:
🌷 The weather is warm but not too hot, everything’s lush and green, and the flowers are in full bloom. Plus, the vineyards are just starting to wake up. It’s such a great time for a road trip through the inner parts of Tuscany! You get to explore the cute little towns, rolling hills, and stunning scenery
🍁 If you want to experience Tuscany's famous wine harvest season, autumn is the time to go. The weather is still pleasant, and the vineyards are full of ripe grapes. It’s also the time for truffle hunting, and the landscapes are stunning with fall colors.
🌞 Summer can get pretty hot, especially in places like Florence or Siena. But honestly, this is when Tuscany is at its most vibrant! There are tons of outdoor festivals, concerts, and events happening everywhere. And if you’re thinking about visiting the Tuscan coast, summer is definitely the time to go.
🌨️ Winter is low season, so it’s the quietest time in Tuscany. We spent almost all of our Christmas in Tuscany, and the villages are just so charming! There’s such a nice vibe everywhere, and the weather is surprisingly good—way milder than what you'd expect from winter.
