 Tipikus ételek és italok Toszkánában

Pecorino di Pienza

Pienza is known for producing some of the finest Pecorino cheeses, made from the milk of local sheep. It is often enjoyed on its own, paired with honey or jam.

Crostini di Fegato

This is a traditional Tuscan appetizer consisting of toasted bread topped with a rich chicken liver pâté. The pâté is typically made with chicken livers, onions, garlic and herbs.

Ribollita

It is basically the ultimate comfort food in Tuscany. It’s a thick, hearty soup made with vegetables like kale, beans, carrots, and onions, plus leftover bread to give it a rich, filling texture.

Cacciucco

It’s a traditional seafood stew from the Tuscan coast, especially Livorno. You get all sorts of fish and shellfish (like squid, shrimp, and fish), simmered in a flavorful tomato sauce with garlic, olive oil, and red pepper.

Truffles

Tuscany, especially around San Miniato, is a truffle hotspot! They shave these earthy, amazing truffles over pasta or other dishes, and it takes the flavor to a whole new level.

Pappa al Pomodoro

A traditional soup, made from tomatoes, stale bread, olive oil, garlic, and basil.

Lampredotto

A traditional Florentine street food, this is a sandwich filled with slow-cooked cow’s stomach! It might look a bit intimidating at first, especially if you're not used to it, but once you give it a chance, it really grows on you!

Bistecca alla Fiorentina

So, this is the famous T-bone steak from the local Chianina cattle, and yeah, it’s definitely on the pricey side in Florence. But honestly, it’s one of those unique experiences that feels totally worth it!

Cantucci

These are the famous almond biscotti from Prato, typically served with a glass of Vin Santo, a sweet dessert wine. You dip the cantucci into the wine for a truly Tuscan experience.

Ricciarelli

Soft almond cookies from Siena, made with ground almonds, sugar, and egg whites.

Negroni

A famous Italian cocktail invented in Florence, made with gin, vermouth, and Campari. My favorite drink ever!

Chianti

Perhaps the most famous Tuscan wine, Chianti is a dry red wine made primarily from Sangiovese grapes.

Brunello di Montalcino

Another renowned red wine, Brunello is known for its full-bodied flavor and aging potential.
